“You are absolutely beautiful, my darling,
with no imperfection in you.”
Song of Solomon 4:7
Hiii! My name is Sharon Castañeda. I am 16 years old and live in an amazing country called Colombia. I love to serve God with every talent He has given me. I like fashion, beauty, makeup and everything that empowers women and brings out their beauty.
(P.S: What a privilege to be on my friend’s blog today.)
I don’t think there are any ugly women or people with imperfections. I think we are all beautiful just as God made us, but it doesn’t hurt to give ourselves a little help.
1. Inner Beauty
Dazzling beauty is not just a physical thing, it’s also about what’s within.
You need to be yourself! Never try to be someone else, the most beautiful thing in a woman is when she rocks her unique personality.
2. A Princess’s Closet
You don’t need expensive clothes to look beautiful. Your closet should be filled with clothes that go with your style and flatter your body. Remember to choose quality over quantity.
God created every woman different and unique. So becoming familiar with our body type, the colors that suit us best, and the different styles of clothing for every occasion can help us choose pieces that will highlight our beauty.
If you are really not sure what works for you, I recommend to see a stylist.
3. Protect your teeth
Good teeth not only give you a beautiful smile, but will also allow you to eat the foods you like at any age. Brush your teeth every morning, afternoon and if possible, after every meal. In addition to regular brushing and flossing, visit the dentist regularly for check-ups.
4. Take care of your skin
You will feel so much better when your skin looks healthy and clean. Washing your face and using the right hydrating creams can help your skin look better than ever.
Regardless of what your skin tone is, don’t spend too much in the sun. However, if you happen to be under the sun for a while, make sure to use sunscreen SPF 15 or higher.
Drink a lot of water. It hydrates your skin from within and helps fight dry skin and prevent peeling.
5. Keep your nails looking impeccable
Make the time to treat yourself to a manicure or pedicure, at home or somewhere special.
Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I’d even lived one day.
