WHY I LOVE TUESDAYS
Is it just me, or can we agree that Tuesdays are underrated? :) Welcome back to the blog friends! Today it’s a short and sweet one; I pray it blesses you and makes you smile!
Yesterday was a holiday here in Colombia (I promise you it feels like every weekend is a long weekend here, I love it!). So you know that “kick-butt” Monday feeling? I felt it today. I woke up motivated and excited to be productive and get things done. But I’m a day late…or am i?
The Bible teaches us that God’s mercies are new EVERY DAY. They’re not just limited to Monday morning meetings neither is His joy only accessible for a fun Friday night. EVERY DAY we have access to the full life he promised us in John 10:10 through the cross. The cross is that bridge we run on to jump into our Father’s arms.
So whether you’re reading this on a Tuesday night, Sunday morning or lazy Saturday night, I want you to know that God’s mercies are new for you today, right now. This means His hand is already reaching out to lift you back up. It means that He wants to spend the day with you and remind you that you are His, that His plans for you are good and that He is still God.
Make today your Monday, your clean slate, your fresh start. Reading this in the afternoon and feel like you let your day go to waste? Shrug off that pitiful attitude and make the most of the hours you have left in the day. His goodness is available to you NOW! If you’re not sure where to start to get there, Ephesians 1:7 is a great place. It says that our sins have been forgiven and the price of our redemption has been paid. This means that what separated us from His goodness has been torn down and we can now boldly and gratefully approach His throne as His kids. How cool is that?!
Hold on to hope, to joy and to peace!
Happy Monday friends!—-or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday…
